The latest offering from Nintendo’s Mario Kart franchise was launched today, and thanks to the nearest Wal-Mart being open 24 hours a day, that meant midnight. Kelly and I were there, brought the game home… and before we knew it, it was already 3 AM. There are good things and bad things about this game. Read on… »»More

I promised earlier to post reviews on the video games I got for Christmas. Why has it taken me until February to review Super Mario Galaxy? Because I’ve been so busy playing it, I didn’t feel like stopping to write about it! The only bad thing about this game, is that I can’t even imagine how Nintendo could possibly top it. »»More
I wasn’t expecting it, but I received “SimCity Societies” for Christmas. And first off, I need to correct an earlier article about the game — it IS compatible with Windows Vista.

There’s a wonderful website I like to visit once in awhile when I get bored… it’s called FlashGames. You can play Flash-based versions of several different TV game shows — usually just the bonus rounds (the best part). It’s all free, the games work well (unlike some other sites I’ve tried), and it’s anyone’s guess how these guys got their hands on so many theme songs and sound effects “in the clear” (without any other background noise or talking). But when I visited the site just now… it looks like SONY ruined quite a bit of the fun. »»More
