Before I get into my review, I must tell you I’ve never been a big fan of fighting games. The only reason I ever played “Super Street Fighter II” or even “Mortal Kombat” was because one of my best friends at the time had both games, we always hung out at his house, and it was all he ever wanted to play. I just played for lack of choice, but never really got into it enough to learn all the combos, special moves and such.
Even now, I don’t know all the special moves — nor do I plan on taking the time to learn them all — but the chance to play as Mario, Link, Zelda, Samus Aran and dozens of other popular characters from every major Nintendo series greatly outweighs any opinion or dislike I’ve had for any other fighting games in the past. »»More
I promised earlier to post reviews on the video games I got for Christmas. Why has it taken me until February to review Super Mario Galaxy? Because I’ve been so busy playing it, I didn’t feel like stopping to write about it! The only bad thing about this game, is that I can’t even imagine how Nintendo could possibly top it. 
I wasn’t expecting it, but I received “SimCity Societies” for Christmas. And first off, I need to correct 
Here comes the first in a short series of reviews on new games we got for Christmas. I’ll get right to the point: this one sucks. (I paid for it, so I can bash it.) Thankfully, I wasn’t “looking” for it — Kelly loves the M&M characters, and I found it by chance while looking for other gift ideas. Plenty of rants lately… and it’s almost Christmas, so I guess it’s time for something positive. If you haven’t upgraded your Winamp to the latest version yet, go do it. There are 2 features in particular which I think are pretty cool. Today I’ll tell you why I like them — but there are some slight glitches to watch out for.
