Where the heck have I been?  Has it seriously been more tha a month since my last post?  It sure has… no thanks to being so bogged down at work lately, it’s hard to find the inspiration or motivation to post anything.  But today, I wanted to share a YouTube video I just uploaded, with 2 great reasons to avoid the Wyndham Cypress Palms “resort” in Kissimmee, Florida.  You won’t believe what we found after we checked into our room.

Touring Boston in Just 24 Hours

Boston SkylineLast week, Kelly and I marked our fourth anniversary dating.  She tried to surprise me with tickets to see comedian Dane Cook performing in Boston last weekend.  She had no luck with several eBay auctions, but we decided to go to Beantown anyway.  Being a pretty spur-of-the-moment trip, we didn’t have much time to really plan anything… but we still got to see quite a bit… all in just 24 hours, including sleep.  Click here to see the pictures.  Rather than writing a full article, I detailed the trip through the captions for each photo.

Rave: Darien Lake 2007

Darien Lake in 2004, courtesy coasterimages.comThis past weekend was “Welcome Back Weekend” at Darien Lake Theme Park. For the past several years, Darien Lake was owned by Six Flags. Over the winter, it was one of several parks Six Flags sold to a different company — I believe the name is Parc Management.

I had heard through someone at work, that admission was only $10 for opening weekend. Even though I didn’t see anything on the park’s website to confirm it, I convinced Kelly to go, and we brought along her 6-year-old niece, as Kelly was babysitting for the weekend.
