As predicted right here on this very website in February, Fox has cancelled MadTV. The show’s co-creator is hoping to keep it alive on cable TV, even if it has to get by on a smaller budget.
While some might argue Comedy Central would be a no-brainer for this, I don’t think they’d risk putting up all that money to try to compete with SNL. In fact, no cable network immediately comes to mind as a likely customer for this has-been show.
dont pride yourself on predicting MADtv’s so-called cancellation, because that just reeks of vain attempts to be recognized. back to the issue, everyone could predict that cancellation more or less from their degrading skits. big deal eh
